Sometime ago, I was having a conversation with a friend and that person was telling me about how she would predict her future. This person said that a degree to start off a career would be nice, get a good job, earn big bucks, enjoy life. I said, ok..well
what next? That person carried on, saying how a perfect partner, dating, marriage would be next. I said, thats nice..well
what next? This person goes on and on about how big he wants his career life to get, big cars, banglos, KIDS!! I said, thats wonderful!..but
what next? Well he said, I thought of almost all of it there is to do in life. Can't think of anything more other than dying.
So friends and readers, is this all there is in life? studying, working, marriage, kids, properties, assets, and then dying? But what next? I mean, what comes after dying? Has anyone thought of that?Is life all of this and nothing more?
For me, what comes next? God! For true Christians, life isn't about properties, degrees, masters, etc. Its about God. Someone once said that the chief end of men is to glorify God and enjoy Him FOREVER!! So whats next after dying? Eternity for me thats for sure =)
